About
Liam Reay is a composer and producer from Newcastle upon Tyne, who specialises in Rock, electronic and orchestral music. After being in rock bands, concert bands, theatre pit bands, performing solo and working as a sync and Production music manager, Liam's passion of writing music for sync comes from a deep rooted love of composition and fascination of music licencing.
"Hiding Place" was the first song Liam ever wrote, written about Christon Bank in Northumberland, where he spent most weekends as a child. To this day, he retreats there to write and record demos.
Liam's most notable bespoke work to date is the UK radio advert for samsung's galaxy pro buds 2.
Liam has achieved various syncs through library music compositions, including placements on networks such as Fox Sports, ESPN and Food Network.
He has also enjoyed working on pitches for bespoke projects, with companies like BBC (a minor key reworking on nursery rhyme Merrily Merrily) and Gamble Aware (a football chant cover of Celine Dion's "Think Twice").
